Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use apply to the Cointastic mobile app, web app, website, and related features operated by MimesisIQ LLC. By using Cointastic, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If a learner is not old enough to accept these Terms under applicable law, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them on the learner’s behalf and supervise use of the service.
Educational purpose
Cointastic provides educational coin-recognition, counting, make-change, practice, and timed challenge activities. It is not a bank, wallet, payment service, financial advisor, accountant, or substitute for professional advice. Game amounts and coin exercises do not represent real funds or a promise of financial value.
License and Apple terms
MimesisIQ LLC grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cointastic for lawful personal or educational purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable store rules.
The iOS app is licensed, not sold. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies to the iOS app unless MimesisIQ LLC provides a valid custom EULA through App Store Connect. The Apple Standard EULA is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA on an app-license issue, the Standard EULA controls to the extent of that conflict.
Acceptable use
You may not use Cointastic to:
- Break the law, infringe another person’s rights, harass others, or distribute harmful, deceptive, or inappropriate content.
- Interfere with the service, bypass access or purchase controls, probe security, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Cointastic except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Misrepresent challenge results, impersonate another person, or use sharing features for spam or unwanted contact.
Cointastic Plus purchases
Cointastic Plus is intended to be a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks the Plus features described in the app at the time of purchase. The App Store shows the final price, currency, and applicable taxes before confirmation. You must have permission from the App Store account holder to make a purchase.
Apple processes payment, purchase history, refunds, and Family Sharing eligibility under Apple’s terms and account settings. Use Restore Purchases inside Cointastic to restore an eligible purchase. Family Sharing availability can vary by region, Apple account, family-group configuration, and App Store settings.
Ownership and feedback
Cointastic software, branding, interface, original artwork, text, and other materials are owned by MimesisIQ LLC or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. United States coin names and references are presented for identification and educational purposes.
If you send product ideas or feedback, you grant MimesisIQ LLC permission to use that feedback to improve Cointastic without restriction or payment, provided MimesisIQ LLC does not publicly identify you without permission.
Availability and changes
Cointastic may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, challenge content, compatibility, or availability. MimesisIQ LLC may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date and made available through the app or website.
MimesisIQ LLC may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect Cointastic, users, third parties, or legal compliance. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—survive termination.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cointastic is provided “as is” and “as available.” MimesisIQ LLC does not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device, or that every educational result will meet a particular expectation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MimesisIQ LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or use arising from Cointastic or third-party services. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your residence provides mandatory protections that cannot be waived. Apple’s Standard EULA contains additional terms for the licensed iOS app.
